What Are Visual Assessments?
Visual Assessments can be used in the workplace as a whole or a section of the facility to examine the visual communications needed to ensure the safety or productivity in the workplace. Visual Workplace provide two types of assessments

Visual Safety Assessment
Safety assessments help identify potential hazards in the workplace before they lead to accidents or injuries. By systematically evaluating equipment, processes, and work environments, safety assessments allow employers to take proactive steps to eliminate or control risks. They ensure compliance with safety regulations, reduce the likelihood of costly incidents, and protect both workers and company assets. Additionally, regular assessments promote a culture of safety, increase employee awareness, and contribute to continuous improvement in workplace practices.

Visual Management Assessment
A Visual Management Assessment is a structured evaluation of how effectively a workplace uses visual tools and cues to communicate important information, guide behavior, and support safety and efficiency. Use this assessment to identify areas where communication can be improved through better visual cues, ultimately supporting lean manufacturing, 5S practices, and a strong safety culture.

Visual Tag Assessment
Utilize the Visual Tag Assessment to identify processes and procedures that are missing critical tags. Safety tags are essential in workplaces as they provide clear, visual warnings about hazards, support lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and help prevent accidents during maintenance or equipment use. Safety tags reduce downtime, prevent damage, and reinforce a strong safety culture throughout the workplace.
